Principal's Welcome

Welcome to Northbourne Public School! We are thrilled to have you join our vibrant and diverse community. Our school officially opened its doors in 2021, and since then, we have been committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all students.

At Northbourne Public School, we pride ourselves on our modern and innovative facilities that support contemporary teaching practices. Our motto, "Curious Minds, Bright Futures," reflects our dedication to fostering a love of learning and encouraging each child to explore their interests and potential.

Our student body is diverse, with 84% of our students identified as English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EALD) learners, alongside 1% from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds. This rich diversity enhances our learning environment, making it a place where different perspectives are valued and respected. We strive for excellence in education and provide a safe, caring, and supportive atmosphere where every child can thrive.

Understanding that each student has unique needs, we differentiate our learning approaches to cater to individual strengths and challenges. Our dedicated staff members work tirelessly to recognise effort and encourage participation, helping every student reach their personal best.

Additionally, we offer a range of extracurricular activities designed to support our high-performing and gifted education students.

At Northbourne Public School, we believe in the importance of strong home-school partnerships. We encourage open communication and respectful relationships between families and staff, as we work together to nurture the character strengths of our students.

We are excited to embark on this journey with you and your family, and we look forward to a successful year ahead.

Should you have any questions or require further information, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Warm regards,

Michele Hedge
